## What is Digitalflotte?
Digitalflotte provides legally compliant tachograph reading, archiving, and fleet telemetry solutions for transport companies operating vehicles over 3.5t gross vehicle weight (GVW) in Germany and the EU.

## Legal Requirements (EU & Germany)
- Driver card data must be read and archived every **28 days** (§ 36 FPersV).
- Tachograph mass memory must be read every **90 days**.
- All vehicles ≥ 3.5t GVW are legally required to use a digital tachograph.
- Non-compliance can result in fines up to €15,000 per incident.

- Method: Permanently installed Remote Download Unit (RDU) per vehicle; data transmitted automatically over GPRS/LTE
- Benefit: Zero manual intervention; all legal deadlines met automatically

### Terminal Solution
- Target: Logistics hubs and terminals with stationary vehicles
- Method: Fixed Wi-Fi/LAN reading station at depot
